Our community.

In 2012, Taylor founded the Morning Mysore program in Columbus, Ohio to provide a community where students can learn Ashtanga Yoga as it's traditionally taught in Mysore, India. This unique style of learning accommodates all levels and backgrounds of experience. The community at Ashtanga Yoga Columbus (AYC) is built around a group of dedicated students who are improving their physical, mental, and spiritual health through the transformational practice of Ashtanga. An important aspect of regular yoga practice is satsang, which means a community gathered together in pursuit of truth. However, in typical yoga classes we often never really meet the person practicing next to us.

AYC offers the opportunity to learn the system of Ashtanga yoga while providing a community atmosphere that includes gatherings where students  can get to know each other as well as find support in their practice and daily lives.
