Pranayama Workshop

  • Ashtanga Yoga Columbus 4684 Indianola Avenue Columbus, OH, 43214 United States (map)

Join Stephanie for a two-hour workshop that covers pranayama, or the fourth limb of the eightfold path of yoga. But what IS Pranayama?

‘Prana’ refers to the universal life force and ‘ayama’ means to regulate or lengthen. Succinctly, pranayama is a series of breathing exercises that have the ability to quickly increase our energy, release stress, improve our mental clarity, and improve our physical health.

This two-hour workshop covers:

-  bandhas, nadis, and chakras and how they relate to the body and pranayama

-  an overview of the physiology of pranayama (including basic anatomy and breathing techniques)

- three classical pranayama exercises that you can use throughout all seasons of your life

While this workshop is marketed as an introduction, it will be beneficial for those beginning their pranayama journey and seasoned yogis alike.

Available online and in-person, this workshop is two hours with a financial commitment of $40.

Space is limited - so sign up today!
